One Thing

There's a harp in my heart, and only you can play it,
There's a song in my soul, and only you can sing it.

And your so unpredictable, God.
Just like the rythmn, the rythmn of weeping.
And when my life is still so upside down,
You keep on coming, coming around.
You keep on loving, even when I let you down.

You're my one thing, God.

Song I woke up with in my head :)

Get ready to rumble though. I woke up and as I was walking to the bathroom, Yahweh was reminding me of how the Kingdom of Heaven works. He said to me "You forget, in my Kingdom, you use exactly what you have, and as you steward what I've already given you, I bless you with more."

Today is the 16th day of the 9th Moon. 2nd quarter of the moon.

He also showed me it wouldn't be a terribly long process, that prayer, avodah, is work. And, that, it is really the driving force behind getting things done.

Zechariah 4
6 Then he [a]said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. 7 ‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”

Strangers in a Strange Land

By faith he [Abraham] lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise;

for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

I feel like I can relate to these verses.

We are strangers in a strange land.
